Dry Needling
Dry needling is also an invasive procedure aiming to reduce pain, improving range of motion & strength, as well as improving general function. Dry needling is known to improve muscle activation, therefor, helping with muscle recovery and injury prevention. During a dry needling session, specific muscular trigger points are targeted and consent will be obtained each and every time to ensure our patients' comfort and tolerance.

Did you know that Acupuncture & Dry needling are controlled and restricted acts in Physiotherapy? Extended training and rostering are needed for physiotherapists to perform acupuncture and dry needling.
There are no additional costs for these services - it can be a part of your pelvix or orthopedic physiotherapy appointment.
For every new patient, a physiotherapy initial assessment visit is necessary to access these services.
